Accor Hotels Partners With Chinese Hotel Group, Boosts Reward Offerings

Accor Hotels has partnered with China’s Huazhu Hotels Group to give members of Le Club Accorhotels more than 1,900 additional accommodation and reward options in China.

Together, the two programs total 47 million members with earning potential at more than 5,600 properties with the addition of Accor’sinternational properties. The partnership will give members of both Le Club Accorhotels and Huazhu’s loyalty program greater access and earning potential at hotels around the world.

“This ground-breaking collaboration will leverage the strengths of Accor’s global brands with a leading player in Chinese hospitality,” Sebastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO of Accor, said in a press release. “This major step is key to our digital transformation as the agreement will link the power of both groups’ reservation and loyalty platforms, providing travelers and loyal members more access and more choice.” 

According to the partnership agreement, all of Accor’s Grand Mercure, Mercure, Novotel, Ibis and Ibis Styles hotels in China, Mongolia and Taiwan will become part of Huazhu under a franchise agreement while maintaining their unique identies.
