About David Harwood
David began his career in a FMCG Company as an executive trainee. Twelve years,
and various positions later, he rose to the position of National Sales Manager.
He headhunted for Montana Wines as National Sales Manager -- his main responsibility
was to launch wine into Supermarkets when regulatory changes occurred.
He started his own company in the below-the-line merchandising and Sales Promotion
industry then sold his share of the company to his partner in 1999 when he decided
to specialize in incentive and loyalty programs and set up Incentive Solutions.
David's strengths are in the grocery industry, sales & marketing, promotions
and loyalty marketing.
Incentive Solutions is now one of the largest Incentive Companies in NZ with
a blue chip client base. Their focus is primarily trade and staff programs in
which they have a recognized expertise.
In 2003 Incentive Solutions set up a joint venture with Gary O'Brien of Promotional
Results in Sydney, Australia to promote their services to this larger market.
