American Express and US Airways announced today that consumer, small business and corporate Platinum Card and Centurion members will now have access to US Airways’ 17 US Airways Clubs in 13 cities, expanding the American Express Airport Club Access Program. This agreement is unique in that Card members can access US Airways Club locations regardless of which airline they are flying that day. To access a US Airways Club, Card members simply present the club representative with their Platinum Card or Centurion Card and a government-issued ID. Card members may also be accompanied by their spouse and children, or up to two traveling companions, in the airport lounges at no additional charge.

In addition to access to the US Airways Club, The Airport Club Access Program allows Card members access to Delta Sky Club, American Airlines Admirals Club and Continental Airlines Presidents Club. To take advantage of these clubs, Card members must present their Card, government-issued ID and have a valid same-day ticket for travel on the corresponding airline. US Airways Clubs offer services including: complimentary wireless internet powered by T-Mobile HotSpot, complimentary beer and wine, non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, premium alcohol available for purchase, personal reservation assistance, cable TV, newspapers and periodicals, and business workstations.
